Abstract: The assessment of a geographical orientation, volumes and cost of import in the Russian Federation of meat of pork in the conditions of embargo is carried out. For assessment statistical data of foreign trade of customs service of Russia were used. The segment of meat of pork is very dependent on import production. After Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization this segment of the market depended on how the state will support and will be able to constrain import. The total amounts of deliveries in 2014 compared to 2013 have in kind decreased by 43‰, in value for 33‰. The geographical orientation of deliveries has changed. If in 2013 Brazil (21‰), Denmark (14‰) and Germany (13‰), Canada (13‰) were the main suppliers, then in 2014 Brazil (53‰), Canada (25‰), Chile (6.9‰) became the main suppliers. It is shown that goods of group 0203 Commodity Nomenclatures of Foreign Economic Activity are imported with a certain recurrence. Now customs and tariff regulation becomes not only the tool of the general economic policy at the national level, but also object of the regulating activity of the international economic organizations. Further, the Russian market will be focused on the countries of South America, Asia, activity of the external economic interactions with the EEU countries has to increase
