Abstract: In article creation of the state system of the accounting of results of scientific and technical activity is considered, the order and features of the account are analyzed. For 2006-2014 the scientific agricultural organizations Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences have registered in the Database more than 13 thousand results scientifically - technical activity. Historical stages of formation of system of the accounting of results of scientific and technical activity are analysed, fundamental standard and legal documents are provided, positive and negative characteristics of each of the created systems are given. The conclusion is drawn that the introduced Uniform state information system has kept the basic shortcomings inherent in former system of the accounting of results of research and development. The system of collecting data on the results which are carried out by research and development and received has become complicated. Topical issue is optimization of structure of the collected information for minimization of labour costs on her collecting, transfer and processing and achievement of the maximum objectivity and reliability of results of the analysis of the data received from the organizations. The issue of the accounting of basic researches isn't resolved.
