Abstract: The article is devoted to the review of the domestic market of agricultural machinery and transformations, the caused import deliveries which have happened in recent years under the influence of the problems connected with transition to the market relations. Relevance of application of marketing at interaction of the enterprises of producers of agricultural machinery and its consumers in the conditions of import substitution is considered. For overcoming global competitive factors of the external environment the priority directions connected with development of domestic agricultural engineering industry as new form of cooperation of equipment manufacturers and her consumers in the conditions of external restrictive measures are offered. Possibilities of interchange ability of components of machine-technical production in the course of her designing and use with application of modular approach are analyzed. The long-term trend of development of domestic agriculture has to be based on use of high-performance and highly profitable technologies.
