Abstract: In agriculture the ecosystem services concept has become of special importance since the release of the "Millennium Ecosystem Assessment" report. Some ecosystem services can be estimated economically, part of them refers to public goods and can not be assessed by money only. The market for ecosystem services in the EU is rapidly developing, and environmental firms services amounts reach tens of billion Euros. The most widespread in the EU and world market received such trade and payment schemes as: eco-labeling of agricultural products, open trade on regulatory standards, as well as payments to farmers for the maintenance of ecosystem services. In EU agriculture the register of e final ecosystem services directly serving the human well being plays a considerable role. It includes such domains as Economy, Health, Safety and Biodiversity.
