Abstract: The factorial analysis showed that productivity is more powerful factor than a cultivated area when determining gross output of grain. As researches and confirms experience of the advanced farms show that innovative development of production of grain crops with productivity over 30 c/hectare proves a need of the accelerated modernization of grain branch, providing agricultural producers with modern equipment. The innovative technology of precision farming is offered for increase of production of grain. It will allow to improve not only operational and financial performance, but also to strengthen food security of the region. That is considered in modeling balance of grain. The results of solved mathematical models indicate that due to the introduction of precision farming increases the potential growth of grain production and agricultural organizations that are major producers of grain in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
