Abstract: For a sustainable development, both agrarian sector, and region economy in general, it is necessary to increase investment activity, to find financial reserves that there was no its recession or freezing during the crisis which captured the country. The analysis of investment activity of the agrarian and industrial complexes organizations of regional sector of economy as in general across North Caucasus federal district, and across Stavropol Krai, the main tendencies and the directions of its development are defined is presented in article. The main investment projects in agro-industrial sector of regional economy are considered. The carried-out analysis of investment activity of North Caucasus federal district gives an idea of priority of these or those directions of development of agrarian and industrial complex of the region. The revealed tendencies have to promote recovery from the crisis with deduction of the positions in the market and production efficiency growth.
