Abstract: Concentration of efforts of the state and science on introduction of achievements of scientific and technical progress in agricultural production, distribution of technological innovations, carrying out large-scale technical modernization of farms of the agrarian sphere is necessary for development of material base of agriculture. The executed assessment of productivity of the actions realized within the State program 2008-2012 allowed authors to draw a conclusion on the insufficient level of efficiency of the program actions and the reasons which affected it. Results of the comparative analysis of cost of the attracted resources when carrying out various actions for the state support allow an agricultural producer to develop effective policy of optimum use of alternative sources of financing. Authors offered recommendations about improvement of the state support of the technician - technological modernization of agrarian production, including the list of actions of the direct, indirect and mediated participation of the state taking into account the solved tasks differentiated on levels of hierarchy of management.
